A graduate of Gettysburg College, Steve received his CPA in 1977 and earned his MBA from Widener University in 1982. He worked in Chief Financial Officer positions for companies such as WaWa Food Markets, Perdue Farms and the Book-of-the-Month Club. Steve founded the Bureau of Account Management (BAM), a national medical A/R collection agency in 1997. Three years later, Steve helped to co-found KeyMed Partners, where he now serves as President. In his current role, he oversees the company’s finances, human resources/benefits, IT, marketing and planning functions and is a member of AICPA, HFMA, AAHAM and PICPA. Steve enjoys partnering with clients to solve revenue cycle challenges.

She co-founded KeyMed Partners in 2000, bringing to the organization her extensive experience and knowledge including all facets of hospital and physician billing and A/R management. Joni is a consummate professional, active in AAHAM, HFMA, HCCA, HBMA and AAPC. She is a graduate of Central Penn Business College.
Her duties at KeyMed include leading the operational teams that handle customer service, billing and practice management, insurance verification, and insurance follow projects. She also serves as the Corporate Compliance Officer and monitors benchmarking for performance indicators.
Joni believes that developing a partnering relationship with a diverse team of healthcare professionals has attributed to KeyMed’s success. He was a co-founder of KeyMed Partners and Bureau of Account Management (BAM), a national medical A/R collection agency. His primary focus and knowledge base is the collection of self-pay A/R, but he is integral to the operation side of KeyMed Partners, with expertise in planning, hiring, training, client service, customer care, sales and setting performance goals. A graduate of Shippensburg University with a degree in Finance, Barth is a member of the American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management.

Tom Callahan became KeyMed Partner’s Director of Practice Management in November, 2011. Tom has an undergraduate degree from SUNY-Binghamton and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. He brings over 20 years of practice management experiences to KeyMed, including seven years as a practice administrator with the Heritage Medical Group in Harrisburg. He has played an active role in the American Heart Association and, in his early career, worked as a respiratory therapist. Tom’s extensive knowledge of medical practice management gives KeyMed Partners a distinct advantage in helping physician practices become more profitable.

Leslie joined the KeyMed Partners management team in November, 2011. She gained extensive medical billing and collection experience throughout her 25-year career in a variety of healthcare organizations. With 15 years of experience specific to physician billing management, Leslie is now responsible for managing physician special projects. Most recently, she served as Billing Manager at Pennsylvania Retina Specialists where she was responsible for the complete management of the A/R for four locations. Leslie uses her strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage a wide variety of special projects for physician practice clients.
